Do you think you want to learn Excel, but are not sure? Join our experienced instructor at Potomac Community Library on Thursday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. to find out. "Introducing Excel: an Introductory Class" is a hands-on exploration of this powerful software tool. You will learn what Excel is, what it is used for, and how it might help you on the job or at home. Plus you will see some examples of Excel in action. If you have wondered exactly how much math you need to know to use Excel, this class will help you answer that question. The instructor will cover the "math angle," the vocabulary used in Excel, and some of the basic concepts so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or not a further course to learn Excel is right for you. Those who wish to take the class must have some familiarity with the use of Microsoft Word, as well as the ability to type and use a mouse. This class is also a prerequisite for any future Excel classes held at Potomac Community Library.
