BristowEnews.com lead staff writer met with the Nokesville Business Association (NBA) over dinner soiree at one of the local restaurants in Bristow and covered the current state of the organization.Tom Basham, President of Nokesville Business Associates discussed the organization has been existence for the past 7 years and currently has 75 active members. The organization started six (6) years ago as a Christmas decoration club and helped light the Nokesville Christmas tree. In the past NBA has helped the Raritan Events such as the Nokesville Day and the Brunswick Stew Day annual event. NBA has also supported the BARN , a non-profit organization and a temporary housing and support services to homeless women and children located in Bristow, Virginia.

The organization meets regularly at the Nokesville Firehouse No. 5 every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 pm. Mr. Basham is currently working on a documentary project detailing the history of Nokesville - past, present, and future.
