Exotic Tomato Mango Salsa

Try out this refreshing home-made salsa. Mangoes and tomatoes are plentiful and in season. Beat the dog days afternoon and head

out to your local farm stand or grocery store. Impress your friends with this easy to follow recipe.

 

 

Ingredients:
3 ripe tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 small onion
1 large ripe mango
Cilantro, dash dried or use freshly chopped.
Add dried red pepper or a fresh finely chopped hot pepper for fire.
If serving with salty corn chips, skip the salt.

Step 1: Chop tomatoes.

Step 2: Mince or finely chop 2 cloves garlic.

Step 3: Finely chop onion.
Step 4: Slice and dice mango.

Step 5: Blend ingredients together and add fresh or dried Cilantro to taste. If serving with salty corn chips, skip adding salt. If hot salsa is desired add dried red pepper or a small finely chopped hot pepper with seeds removed. Caution; never touch your eyes while handling fresh hot peppers and their seeds!

Serve with your favorite corn chips or tortillas.
