Its summertime and school is out. So how do you spend your summer? Maybe by going to the pool and vacation, hanging out with friends, and maybe doing a couple of camps. But what would it be like to run your own camp every summer? Well, Emily Lodge knows. Every summer Emily, her parents, and volunteers run a week long soccer camp called Score for the Poor.

Score for the Poor is a nonprofit camp that donates all of the money that the camp makes to the Sisters of the Poor. During the camp kids will learn and practice soccer skills while having fun at the same time. They also play kickball and do some other fun activities. Emily says that she also enjoys meeting people and serving the Sisters of the Poor. Over the past four years the camp has raised about $3,000 in total.
