Joyce Andrew of the Dunbarton Community is this year's coordinator for the annual Christmas Caroling at Dunbarton. Since the community began, approximately six years ago, residents have braved various weather conditions to bring some cheer especially to shut-ins, within Dunbarton. Often they come with a candy cane decorated golf cart, complete with heater, for those who might get tired. This year everybody walked and kept warm with their brisk and bright caroling.

Carolers take turns leading the group in songs both ancient and modern with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" being the most popular. For about two hours they walked and sang carols around Dunbarton, finishing up at the clubhouse for some hot chocolate or coffee and homemade cookies. Many people appreciated the carolers visiting their homes and bringing with them the warmth of the Christmas season. They even visited their resident "Santa Claus" who was home this year with a knee injury. The Dunbarton Carolers made many residents happy about the upcoming holidays!
