3 to 4 Raw Fresh Chicken Breasts

1/2 to 1 Cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese (Fresh or Pre-Grated)
1 Stick of Unsalted Butter
1/4Teaspoon of Salt
Freshly Ground Pepper (optional)
Directions:
Step 1: Measure all of your ingredients and have them ready to use and prepare the water for the pasta.
Step 2: In a medium to large skillet poach the raw chicken breasts in water on medium to medium-high heat. Cover with a lid and turn the chicken over every 5 to 6 minutes.
Step 3: While the chicken breasts are cooking, and the water for the fettuccini is at a rolling boil, add the fettuccini pasta and cook according to the package directions.
Step 4: Cook the pasta and the chicken (about 10 to 15 minutes or until they are completely cooked through) until it's ready to be prepared.
Step 5: Drain the pasta and slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips.

Step 6: In a large saucepan melt 1 stick unsalted butter and stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Mix until well combined.

Step 7: When the heavy cream and butter is hot and well combined, toss in the fettuccini pasta and the sliced cooked chicken breasts (add freshly ground pepper to taste if desired).
Step 8: When the chicken and fettuccini is well-coated, toss in the grated parmesan cheese.
Step 9: Once all of the ingredients are tossed and combined together, heat briefly and serve immediately.

Step 10: Served with Tossed Green Salad.
