Braemar held a "Spooktackular Halloween Trick or Treat Parade" sponsored by the Braemar Community Association. Children in Halloween costumes showed off their outfits including rock stars, giraffes, Elmo, Hannah Montanna, police, butterflies in addition to your traditional costume. The annual event attracted local Braemar residents and their children.
Shonna Flanigan, Proprietor of Adventure in Fun provided the entertainment in the form of balloon twisters. Shonna has created balloon couches, six-foot ninja turtles, and assortment animal impressions for special events, corporate functions, and other non-profit charitable causes. Many of the Braemar residents were amazed at the bunnies, butterflies, monkeys, snakes, spiders and turtles that she created in a matter of minutes.
Karen Dove, Activity Chair for Braemar has organized this year's event. The event this year included prizes, event parade, and treat bags for participants. Karen expects this annual Braemar Halloween Parade to be a main stay in the coming years.
