Catherine Falco began her career with Pampered Chef Products in May 2005 after working as a Civil Engineer at the World Trade Center and then meeting her husband, who began a career with the United States Navy. When they married and decided to have children she realized that she would not be able to work part time as a Civil Engineer and decided to find another avenue for herself which included her love of cooking that dates back to her childhood, when she remembers cooking with both of her maternal and paternal Italian grandparents.
Although both of her grandparents were Italian they encompassed two styles of cooking: Northern Italy and Sicily. One of her grandfathers also owned a restaurant. Catherine grew up cooking with her grandparents and vividly remembers cooking pizza from scratch. Now that she has her own children, she wants them to have her same love of cooking as she did and she believes that the Pampered Chef products make it easy for anyone who loves or desires to cook.
Catherine researched the Pampered Chef Company and learned that it's founder, Doris Christopher was a Christian mother of two with a background in Home Economics who wanted to work and but still be at home with her family. Doris used her love of cooking and found wholesale products that she thought would help make it easier for others, who wanted to cook. Pampered Chef's Mission Statement was something which struck Catherine as her own personal goal for herself and her family. Currently Catherine has a thriving consultant business and trains future Pampered Chef consultants. She believes that Pampered Chef provides quality products and Catherine will go out of her way to help clients and/or people who were referred to her by friends and acquaintances. Two of the signature Pampered Chef products are their stoneware used for baking and their forged cutlery. Catherine thinks that Pampered Chef tries to keep up with the latest trends and styles of cooking as well. For instance Pampered Chef realizes that the Hispanic community more frequently cooks using mainly the stove top and therefore offers Hispanic consultants' starter kits that cater to their style of cooking. Catherine hosts shows to help people find products that will make cooking an enjoyable experience for any occasion as well as helping to raise money for charitable causes.
