8 medium peaches.
Preparation and Cooking Time: 1 hour
Serves: 8
Ingredients:

5 cups sliced peaches (about 8 medium sized)
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter
2 Ready made pie crust dough
Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Peal and slice peaches and put them in a large bowl.

Step 2: Measure sugar and corn starch.
Step 3: Sprinkle sugar and corn starch over sliced peaches and then mix together.

Step 4: Place ready made (or homemade) dough into pie pan. Pour in peach mixture, sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.

Step 5: Place 2nd dough on top and brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

Top pie crust brushed with milk and sprinkled sugar.
Step 6: Bake for 25 minutes at 425 degrees, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for and additional 25 to 30 minutes. Note: if crust begins to brown too quickly place a sheet of aluminum foil lightly over the top until the pie is baked. Put a cookie sheet underneath if the pie begins to bubble over.
