The Lavender Ladies of Catlett's Seven Oaks Lavender Farm, mother and daughter farm team, Edith and Deborah Williamson will give a twenty minute talk on Sat. August 16th at 10 AM.  They will discuss their experiences raising lavender, its many benefits and uses, and their method of developing a niche or boutique type farm business.  They will have many of their products for sale, dried lavender, live plants and a small amount of fresh lavender.

 

Do you love lavender???  Join the crowd at the Nokesville Farmers' Market who will take time to smell the flowers.  What other plant promises to relax you, help you sleep, cure headaches and motion sickness, and when taken internally can help reduce cholesterol?  And to top it off it's pretty and smells great.
