Nokesville Community Christmas Tree Lighting Set for December 13th

The Seventh Annual Nokesville Community Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on December 13^th beginning at 4:00 pm with music and performances by the Nokesville Elementary School, Marsteller Middle School Boys Choir, the Brentsville District High School Jazz Band and the Prince William Dance Academy.  Bruce McDaniel, Principal of Nokesville Elementary School will light the Christmas tree and the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department will escort Santa to the site to greet the community. The Church of the Brethren and the Nokesville Business Association are asking children to bring a can of food to donate to BARN and SERVE when they come to visit with Santa.

 

Following the Christmas tree lighting everyone is invited to the Church of the Brethren for chili, sandwiches, deserts and drinks, as well as fellowship in their church hall.  Two carriage rides will be available from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. A living nativity scene will begin at 6:30 pm on the church lawn.
