“Turning Toward God: Learning to Forgive” is a seminar that will be held on July 19th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, July 19th, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the parish hall. According to their web site, the Phases of Womanhood, Inc. was founded in 2003 by a group of Catholic women from the Washington, DC area. The mission of the Phases of Womanhood is to bring clarity to crucial issues surrounding women in our culture and to help women discover their true fulfillment.
Dr. Lisa Klewicki, who is a clinical psychologist and a panelist at the 2007 National Phase of Womanhood conference, will be presenting the seminar with Father Jamie Workman, parochial vicar at Blessed Sacrament Parish. They will focus on concrete ways to learn how to forgive others, especially those closest to you. Attendees can receive catechist certification credits for this seminar.
