Four “Business of the Year” Awards Presented at the Excellence in Business Awards Luncheon

Manassas, VA–This year the Prince William County–Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce added a fourth category to its three existing “Business of the Year” awards. The winner of the brand new “Business of the Year (16-34 Employees)” was Prince William Cardiology Associates, PC. Cavendo Corporation won the award for “Business of the Year (Up to 5 Employees),” the Louis E. Maroon Business of the Year (6-15 Employees) went to Kitchen Gourmet & A Company of Caterers Inc. and SYNERGY ONE Federal Credit Union walked away with the “Business of the Year (35 or More Employees)” award.

 

 
The awards were presented by guest Master of Ceremonies Bernard Niemeier, President and Publisher of Virginia Business Magazine at the 2007-2008 “Excellence in Business” Awards Luncheon held on Tuesday, May 20th at the Four Points by Sheraton–Manassas. The awards acknowledge the outstanding contributions made by Chamber members to further the mission and goals of the Chamber and to improve the community at large. More than 100 members, committees and projects were nominated in 13 different categories. The luncheon was sponsored by the Prince William County Department of Economic Development and the City of Manassas Office of Economic Development.
