If you have dreamed of an unbelievably delicious cup of coffee, the beans for which were roasted nearby no more than two days before, your dream has come true! Hondo Coffee will be serving unlimited free tastings of at least three flavors this Saturday at the Nokesville Farmers Market beginning at 8 AM. We are thrilled that Hondo Coffee has joined our community Market, now 23 vendors strong.
Hondo Coffee is grown under the warm sun and gentle rains in the Mountains of the Copan District in the heart of the historic Mayan lands of Mira Sol, Honduras. They combine traditional, earth friendly farming methods with modern post-harvest handling to ensure a consistenly fine product. These wonderful beans arrive in Manassas, Virginia where they are expertly roasted & packaged for a paradise of taste.
Most importantly, Hondo Coffee sacrifices large profits so that it can pay the workers in Honduras a very fair wage for helping to bring this coffee to us. Arondo Holmes, owner of the company, has a personal mission to create a sustainable livelihood for the people of Mira Sol. Hondo Coffee is has partnered with Project Honduras whose vision is to create an alternative model of development for poor countries based on mobilizing and channeling our "Human Capital" rather than endlessly emphasizing the need for more money.
The fact that farm-direct Hondo Coffee is pesticide-free is nothing short of phenomenal. Plus, any and all flavorings you might enjoy in this fantastic coffee are exclusively organic.
Visit HondoCoffee.com and visit your Nokesville Farmers' Market this (and every) Saturday from 8 AM to Noon at Rt. 28 & Fitzwater Drive. Please pass this email on to your coffee or Market loving friends!
Yours gratefully,
Pablo
