Manassas, VA—The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce kicked off Member Appreciation Month with a brand new event called the New Member Showcase which premiered on Friday, March 7^th at the Prince William Health System in Manassas. The event was sponsored by Access National Bank.

 Thirty-three new Greater Chamber members took advantage of the opportunity to exhibit their organization for free and network with other new members as well as veteran members, Chamber leadership and staff over coffee and continental breakfast. Exhibiting businesses included: Able Counseling Services; Ameriplan; Autotecnica; Avow Promotional Products; Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church; Broad Run Recycling; ChickaDeesign, LLC; Clark Benefit Services; Creative Connections; CSI - Con-Serv Industries, Inc.; Dynamics Physical Therapy; Keller Williams Realty; Lacy Communications LLC; Lake Manassas Dental Center; Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center; McCollister's Transportation Group; Medical Missionaries; Monavie - Nutritional Beverage Distributor; P&P Cleaning Services, Inc.; Premier Gold Star Services; PRESTO ESPRESSO Gourmet Coffee Service; Rejoice Magazine; Silpada Designs Jewelry; Speak Up Manassas–Manassas Toastmasters; Tastefully Simple; The Bear Mill & Pickle Bob's; The Pampered Chef; The Mobile Car Doc, LLC; The VA Realty Group; TOTR, Inc.; Toys-for-Tots; Weichert Realtors and Wellington Place at Olde Town.

 

 “What a great event!” exclaimed Robin Cyrtmus, owner of Waiting For You concierge service. “It was like a mini Connections ETC tradeshow just for new members.”

 New member Dana Dwyer with PRESTO ESPRESSO Gourmet Coffee Service remarked, “The tradeshow format gave me the opportunity to give away samples. I can describe my coffee all I want, but allowing people to actually taste it was a major breakthrough for me. I landed several good leads and a lot of people now have a better understanding of my product.”
