Nokesville Business Association
The Nokesville Business Association was established in 2000 as a way for businesses in Nokesville to network, revitalize the community as well as preserve the rural character of the area.
The Nokesville Business Association helps support the annual Nokesville Day which is coming up on Saturday, May 17th. According to Gail Williams, Secretary of the Nokesville Business Association Board, “It’s a day of family fun the community has looked forward to for three decades.” “Besides the variety of vendors there will be children’s activities, demonstrations, music and information about services and organizations in the area.”
Marching bands, musical groups, organizations, dance troupes, ceremonial units, schools, antique cars etc., who are interested in participating in the parade, should contact Ruritan member, John Kelly at 703-791-5634. Businesses, churches, and organizations who want to advertise in the program book can contact gailwilliams1@verizon.net for ad rates and sizes or to obtain a vendor space.
The Friends Uniting Nokesville, which is an offshoot of the Nokesville Business Association, will be holding their Farmer’s Market every Saturday between June and October in the parking lot behind the Church of the Bretheren. Local businesses interested in participating may contact Pablo Teodoro at nokesvillefarmersmarket@gmail.comDate Published: 2008-03-26 00:15:00
