Chamber Founds a Group for Young Professionals

PWC CC Young Professional

Young Professionals of Northern Virginia (YPNOVA) is a new group recently organized by the Prince William County–Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce in order to attract and retain future leadership–those who are currently under the age of forty-one.

The group was organized to help young business people create relationships that foster personal development and a personal commitment to the community. Research shows that when young professionals feel themselves to be a part a community with the power and opportunity to impact it, they are twice as likely to remain in that position. In fact, three out of four young professionals under the age of 28 place more importance on the quality of their community than the availability of jobs.
