Description of Event:
- On Monday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m., we will explore "What's in a Name?" Create a work of art from the letters of your name while learning its meaning, and compose an acrostic poem. This program is for children in grades K-5. Please pick up a free pass at 1:30 p.m. on the day of the program. Limit 24 children.
- You can drop into the library at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18th to see our School's Out Movie. Bring a snack to enjoy, and we will provide the juice and water. Please call the library for the movie title. All ages can attend. This is a drop-in program and does not require passes or pre-registration.
- On Wednesday, April 20th at 2:00 p.m., join us for "Quilting with Paper". This geometric art project will use your imagination to create a paper quilt block using shapes. Explore different types of quilting patterns and discover a folk art as old as civilization itself. This program is for children in grades K-5. Please pick up a free pass at 1:30 p.m. on the day of the program. Limit 24 children. Our "School's Out Specials" and movie license are funded by the Friends of Potomac Library.
