The program will include stories, songs, and fingerplays chosen specifically for babies. Studies show that the best way to prepare for a child’s early literacy development is to read to a child. As an added plus, this program will provide coaching so that caregivers become more skillful and confident in reading aloud. When an adult reads to a child, both are enriched. Space is limited. Register in person or by phone beginning one week in advance at the Information Desk of the Chinn Park Regional Library.
